1931 World Snooker Championship

The 1931 World Snooker Championship snooker tournament was held at the Lounge Hall in Nottingham, England.[1][2] It was the fifth edition of the snooker tournament.

Despite a surge in popularity in the game, only two players competed for the championship: defending champion Joe Davis and previously twice a runner-up, Tom Dennis.[2]

Joe Davis won his fifth World title, by defeating Tom Dennis 25–21 in the final.
